Builth Wells is a market town, situated in the heart of mid Wales set alongside the picturesque river Wye in the Wye Valley.
Builth Wells is well known for the Royal Welsh Show. This four day event is held each Summer and showcases the very best of rural life. It's the largest agricultural event in Wales and it attracts large numbers of visitors with a love for rural life and the outdoors.
With plenty of places to eat and great independent shops this friendly town is the ideal place to stop off and enjoy a coffee and a stroll through the market town and enjoy browsing the shops. Looking for something more active? There's plenty of local walks or cycling routes on the doorstep.

After the sell out success of the first food festival in May, Builth Wells Food Festival is back with it’s next event on Saturday 28th September and this time organisers are planning a bigger festival with even more great food and drink to tantalise your taste buds. Sunday 15th September 2019 10am - 4pm
The 8th Builth Bike Bash will be held on the Royal Welsh Showground, running alongside the 2nd round of the 2019 Welsh Cyclo-cross Series.
Come along and help us ride this huge distance – we’ll be counting 1 mile laps, do as any many or few as you want.

Next Builth Fest event is the annual duck race.
This years race will be on Saturday 21st September. Starting from Irfon Bridge at 11am and finishing at Swingy Bridge. Ducks are £1 each and are available from Conti’s Newsagents on Builth High Street or the Builth Fest committee members will be on the High Street throughout September and at the Co-op on Brecon Road. So please show your support!
Vicky Healey has set herself a challenge!!!
Vicky owner of Victoria-Lynn Hair & Beauty in Builth Wells is firing on all cylinders to raise money for these Amazing Charities: Brecon Mountain Rescue Team, Wales Air Ambulance, Cancer Research UK Race for Life.
